Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves cut into 1/2 inch
chunks
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 10-oz cans of condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 onion, finely diced (optional)
- Salt, pepper and poultry seasoning to taste (optional)
- 1 can low-sodium (< 150mg/serving) chicken broth
- 1-1.5 10-oz packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into
pieces
Directions:
- Place chicken, butter, soup, seasonings and onion into a slow
cooker. Fill with enough chicken broth to cover.
- Cover and cook for 6.5 hours on low. Add biscuit pieces and
add additional seasonings if necessary. Increase heat to high.
Cook for another 1.5 hours.
