Slow Cooker Pork Ribs
Summary
- Source: AllRecipes
- Genre: Meat
- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cooking Time: 4.5-8.5 hours
- Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 2 pounds of boneless pork ribs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bottle BBQ sauce, cook's preference (I happen to prefer
KC Masterpiece, Montgomery Inn, Bullseye, or Stubbs)
- Garlic powder to taste
- 3-4 tbsp Worcestshire sauce
- Red pepper flakes to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C.
- Season ribs with salt and pepper. Place in a baking pan large
enough to easily accomodate the ribs. Brown in oven for 30 minutes,
turning once at the halfway mark. Drain fat.
- Place ribs into the slow cooker. Pour BBQ sauce over the ribs
so that the ribs are 1/4-1/2 covered in sauce. Add garlic
powder, Worcestshire, and red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for four hours or low for
six to eight hours, stirring every 30-60 minutes to prevent
the meat from burning or sticking. One hour before serving, add
salt and pepper to taste.
